Sponsorship is the driving force of the Foundation. The sponsorship contribution is €4,000 per year for a child over a period of 6 to 10 years (a flexible payment plan is available). This will cover all individual expenses: schooling, supplies, and internship fees at a highly reputable private school. The cost of education in Nepal has increased significantly in recent years. In addition to individual donors, organizations (associations, clubs, etc.) are also encouraged to sponsor a child.

According to its statutes, the Benoît Chamoux Foundation provides schooling for orphaned Sherpa children up to their final year of secondary school. It also aims to award higher education scholarships to the most deserving students. A scholarship to Nepal is worth €6,000. This year we are seeking generous donors for two future scholarships.
