Over the past 29 years, the Foundation has developed seven Sherpa cultural projects in the Everest, Solukhumbu and Makalu valleys (renovation of mills, chörtens and monasteries). Most importantly, the foundation has helped educate 40 orphaned children whose fathers died during Himalayan expeditions.
In 2026, we still support the education of 5 children/students.

Ang Ngima, 22 years old
He and his three colleagues prepared the final fashion show, which took place at Yak & Yeti on May 15th. Its theme was symmetry, inspired by the colors of nature. He is also working with his partner, Jessica, on developing his menswear collection. He then has to write a report. Next year, he will focus on learning French and enhancing his resume and portfolio. We will explore the possibility of him applying to a post-baccalaureate program at a fashion school in France, such as ESMOD. He just finished his third year with honors.

Yonden Dolma, 21 years old
She is currently taking her final exams for her third year of pharmacy studies: eight theoretical subjects, including pharmaceutical jurisprudence, galenic pharmacy, Ayurvedic and herbal technologies, biostatistics, and community pharmacy, as well as three practical exams. She will then have to complete a hospital internship and write a thesis, perhaps on the over-the-counter (OTC) drug market. Her dream is to open her own pharmacy and, why not, create a chain of pharmacies throughout Nepal. HT might offer her her first job at Paphlu Hospital…
